HOTEL EMC2 ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY BOOK DRIVE FOR OPEN BOOKS, A CHICAGO NONPROFIT, THROUGH DECEMBER 15

Our hotel aims to inspire curiosity, and is home to over 12,000 vintage art and science themed books for guests to enjoy

WHAT: Hotel EMC2, 228 E. Ontario Street, is celebrating the season of giving by launching a special on-property book drive. Both hotel guests and the public are invited to drop off new and gently used books at the hotel’s front desk from now until Friday, December 15.

The books will be donated to Open Books, a Chicago-based nonprofit that helps provide literacy experiences and access to books for local Chicago communities. The property has worked with several other local nonprofit organizations since opening in early 2017, as one of the hotel’s core principles is embracing and engaging with the local community in Chicago.

Books can be dropped off at the front desk 24 hours a day.
